This paper examines the determinants of public support for EU and EAEU membership in the Eastern Partnership countries.  Since the establishment of the EAEU, the competition for influence in the EaP states between it and the EU has become one of the most relevant issues in these countries’ political life. Using fifteen surveys fielded in Moldova between 2012 and 2019, this paper is able to prove the influence of sociodemographic, identity, institutional performance, and cue-related variables on support for membership in the two studied international organizations. The obtained results may help literatures covering both support for international organizations and relations between international organizations in the EaP countries
